Definitely one of the most fun rides so far this year. Lots of variety and some cool stuff scattered all around. We definitely had fun on the downhill and see saw and the cross country was great as well.

These are the clips where my dumb bag strap didn't get in the way.

  • awesome

quick question, do you know what kind of rules they have for the trails/park at kelso?

  • @TGram29 I believe all the mountain biking trails are marked out specifically with signs and for riding, most were double track, some of them were one way traffic. There's also hiking trails there but you're not supposed to ride on them, ie: the trails along the escarpment that meet up with the Bruce Trail. I've hiked those before too and they're pretty dangerous because they're along the cliff and the terrain can get rough. They'll give you a map with info on it when you get there.

  • Another Qn.

Your video; Where did you attach your camera to. I want to be able to get my handle bars in there too...

  • @Fuel1979 that was with the chest mount. It gets pretty hot wearing it while riding, lol.

  • Hey,

I've never been and eager to go. Does the area have a trail system map anywhere?

    Thomas

  • @Fuel1979 You can find a map on the Conservation Halton site.

They'll also give you a paper copy when you enter and the trails are all marked out too. I remember seeing a sign with a map on the trails as well.

  • @rigglypuffers compared to the skiing, yeah the biking kicks its ass. Not tons of trails but they are good quality and lots of variety, well built and random features placed all around. There's hiking there as well along the cliffs which is pretty intense but that's separate from the bike trails (not allowed, too dangerous). You can have a beach BBQ after too, lol.

The skiing isn't that great because its super small, but I go there sometimes on weeknights because it's also cheap and nearby.

  • @rockbandwii6 skiing in the summer too... didn't you know?

haha not trying to be a dick... but yea.. i hear the biking is better quality than the skiing is.. when each is compared to other places which have skiing and or biking. maybe the poster has an idea???

  • so dats wat they do in the summer cuzs i got glen eden for skiing
