Vince Gill is one of the most underrated guitar players of our time...
-
@AthensGuitarLessons What are you talkin' about, he's used his music man for years.

Vince's solo sounds the best. Albert sounds to quiet. I guess Mo doesn't do twang.

Ny dad played at this show

I think what tit4tat is referring to is that Albert Lee hasn't sounded the same since he started using a strat style guitar. He still sounds like Albert Lee, but the lack of the very specific Tele sound IS noticeable. Now he can preface his gigs with
"Welcome to the Tele-Free Zone."

@tit4tat4dat I don't know what you are referring to when you say Albert Lee's guitar doesn't sound right. I was making a sandwich in another room and heard Albert's solo start and I knew right away it was him from the distinctive sound he has.

In my opinion the guitars sound & volume are great, cause they're so smooth... but maybe it's just me. However, isn't that the coolest bass player you've ever seen ? I love his southern attitude :)
GREAT festival by the way, keeping the blues alive :)

i miss Alvin Lee....

Also...I'm talking about the solos. They could be a bit louder during the solos.
@tit4tat4dat his guitar sounds good. he's known for playing with a clean sound. Albert always prefaces his gigs with: “Welcome to the Distortion-Free Zone.
