the BC is only for devices with 4 USB slots and not any other ps3, which are only 3 lines and they made 16.

@tkoizumi you mean the 60 gb model. i have a 40 gb and i know that ps2 games dont work on it

The uploader failed to post that this only works with 40GB version of PS3. If you have any other version, you have to stick with the physical PS2 console. If yours say "Unsupported format", it means it cannot run it... duh...

I got the fat ps3 and it has options for ps2 on it but when I put in the ps2 game it says the datas not supported

Mine says "unsupported data" over the disc and then pops up this model of the PS3 is not compatible with the PS2 format software. I even went to the PSStore to download the software.Can u plz help me? IM DESPRITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty stupid there aint no BC with the p3 Slim. I mean, wich would come with a stupid idea like; Hey i have an idea, instead of IMPROVING the newest version of the Playstation 3, lets give it LESS features! :S There is a shit load of ps2 games i really want to play on my ps3. Unfortunately, my ps2 is broken. And besides, even if it would still be working, i dont want the stupid trouble of unplugging all the ps3 cables, and replace it with the ps2, just to plug the ps3 back in 3 hours later...
