Can somebody PLEASE tell me how Glenn can spend so many hours talking about freedom of speech being under attack. And does so good on so many stories, yet to this day has never even mentioned Savage being BANNED FROM BRITAIN ? I really need to know this, so if someone has an explanation I would love too hear it.

The reason white stand ups don't do black humor is historical. Blacks were completely mistreated by the US government until the civil rights movement. The mistreatment of Blacks still leaves a bad taste in our mouth but soon enough people will forget about the civil rights movement and start crying "reverse-racism"!

So, basically you're saying everyone feels guilty for what happened, and thus is disinclined to poke fun at blacks because of this guilt? I think not. The problem is, that white people have been trained from birth that we are to use words like "minority" or "african-american" and if you step outside the sanctioned terminology regarding people of any color, we are at worst branded racist, and at least said to be insensitive. And unfortunately its not just people of color doing the branding.

See, you've actually illustrated the problem. You said Whites are TRAINED to use non-derogatory terms as if you have forgotten why it's so important. As i said before it is historical and it's sad that some people think it is a training. Has everyone forgotten the water hoses and dogs that were turned on Blacks and Whites (and all people) who were marching for civil rights? It's sad that you don't understand the power of a word. In the genocide in Rwanda, Tutsies were called "cockroaches"

But I just want to say that I agree with you. There shouldn't be a double standard in Stand Up. Truthfully, I haven't seen this double standard so Im not sure what you're referring to. Look at Russell Peters, he makes fun of everyone.

Free speech doesn't mean anyone can say anything. There are various types of speech that are illegal because of the harm they can cause such as yelling fire in a movie theatre. Beck himself plays the edge of doing just that all the times he keeps talking about killing, poisoning or hitting people with shovels or saying Obama should shoot us or set us on fire. Beck's promoting violence isn't illegal as it's indirectly stated but it's certainly immoral and as a Christian he should be ashamed.

Beck has no credibility. Beck has gone on his own witch hunt to get people fired. Anyways, Beck is the perfect example of why freedom has to be balanced with responsibility. Everyone is free to say what they want, but everyone is responsibile for the results of what they say. Beck has lost many of his advertisers because people protested. Now, that is free speech.

Well said Glenn Beck.  Could not agree more. A microscopic percentage of Americans want to censor everything, and they're winning. Satellite radio, HBO, and the Internet are next.
