  • @exodia94 na.. some evans snares are good.. if he puts a remo or aquarium head on that.. whole thing will change

  • when i throw the dead bodies of the people i kill out my window and they land in the dumpster below they bake the same sound on impact as your snare does when you hit it.... though it hasnt made that sound in a wile i got to empty it :/ uhhhh i miss that sound

  • you rapist

  • i think he is using the EVANS snare drums and tat is why it sounds horrific, my music school has the same snare and toms which reali sounds like someone is dying

  • One should note gradually slow and/or increase tempo like that while practicing. I know that a lot of people do this, but...It does make your tempo a bit wobbly and not as steady as you would want it to.

Instead, start slow to a metronome and then stop, crank up the metronome around 5 beats, and continue for a minute, then repeat.

  • it's the camera that makes it sounds so shitty

  • hes using a mic set up to record his voice not set to record the snare. That's why it sounds all distorted.

  • @Nile505

I agree, use a metronome to practice many different tempos but constantly speeding up and slowing down isn't doing anything for your technique or sense of time/pocket. Start slow, play it at that speed for a few minutes, move the metronome up, play at that speed for a few minutes, ad infinum. That is how you will learn technique, control and speed.

  • You should learn the 'tuning your drums' stroke before you move on to anything. Because your kit sounds like a bunch of beat up cardboard boxes.

  • can you post a video tutorial on how to tune a snare drum like that, i really love the sound!!
