@dckstrat90 to me this song is a rebirth. "let the pretend take over and that season be the first" - a cry to make the change you want. the dreams that were pretend will now be your reality. "leave my lonely mind, a cell" - dont make the self-loathing part of yourself take over. keep it in a single cell. its good to have sad feelings but dont let them encompass you... these are the basics which should help you understand the rest of the song. like john, i keep holding on to myself
