Also, we only had representatives from one DC band (as I am sure you are aware being a fan of bands from the area), one from ATL(GA), two from OH and 1 from TN. I have been in the game for a long time and this truly does not encompass the best of the best this year. Asymmetrix surely is not going to turn down anyone whether they are good or not, it's fee based...

1. dc only had 1 band ready for competiton, the city only has 3 bands one (at the time). they have add atleast 4 atl schools in the comp before but since it was a bad year for many (economy), the band turnout was low (25 bands is a low number) the 2 from ohio are the only known bands there. and there was 2 from TN and its usually 1 from TN each year. they send out invites to all the popular/known bands every where. and most bands dont come (the big headed ones)

This is truly getting out of hand about a DM intro. I think Browneyed, chords and Fish are right. If I am thinking from a spectator, former band member or band member point of view, the focus would be on the movements of the DM. Now if I played the cadence, then I would be like chords...either way it's about which point you choose to view it from and no one will ever be right or wrong! Nationals(not really nationals) is over, let's move on people!

you name a competition foor showstyle bands that has bands from dc nc tn al mi and other states. thats why nationals is called nationals

No, the reason why I don't call it nationals because it to too much opportunity for fraternization between the judges, directors and so forth. It we could truly get unbiased judges then and only then will I call it nationals!

when hshs won people said it was biased, when bksmb won, they said it was biased, when carver from al won they said it was unbiased, when icn and henrico won they said it was biased, when Whitehaven won. they said the same thing. no matter who wins people are goin to say the same thing. i remember jo johnson was there they said they should had made it to finals but hell look at there show and sound!!! a mess

I know u said no offense but show some respect its the band directors wife we know that she sounds bad and she kinda make us llook bad but we never say anything about it because we have respect for her even tryna be a announcer and tryna help out our band

Is it me of was that announcer a complete A**H*** she just refused to shut da hell up, no offense but I think that she's the reason the band didn't even place. I was there and I couldn't even hear the band because her voice just obliterated the "music" from the band, no offense again.

My thing is if I call ppl names out, im sure they will be offended just because this is youtube..... I can debate all day, I really rather do it in person! Anyway everything cool wit me, Im focused on next year. I hope the best for Wetover, I heard Jones was leaving. Do anybody know where he is gonna be now?
