i'm pretty sure it's the morale meter. Basically it tells you how good or bad your troops on the ground are doing

I learned something. People might say a game suck and then other people will not buy it because of what other people say. I learned that you should try out a game for yourself. I thought some games sucked back then, then when I tried them I liked them. So the moral of the story is try a game for yourself and see if you like it not what someone else says about a game. Don't be a follower.
