just wondering, did you guys use line filters and safety gaps in this coil? trying to work out how important it is.

@smiley235 i used filter from Microwave Oven, but there are not safety gap in this TC ( i should use them ), anyway, all breaking point are connected to the ground...

but yeah, safety gaps are very important x) ( srry for bad english )

alex...why are there microwave transformers and neon sighn transformers is it mot powered or nst powered i dont get it

@teslaspigeon ahah x), i use the MOTs for current limiting, then, the primary coil is powered with NST ^^

@HVstyle Thanks mate, that's good to know, you answered the questions I was after. Just wasn't sure but I suppose its worth putting the extra effort in to make it safe. And about bad English, I cant speak French so I'd be the last person who should be judging, just happy you could help me out, cheers!
