  • you're a girl with many talents! I love it x

  • @UnderTheLilyShadow Thanks so much!

  • Thank you so much.. this is a great tutorial.. so much information about all things fabric.. !! ..have you ever tried an Accuquilt die that creates the cut edges? I am thinking about getting one of those because I think I will love to make these quilts for gifts.

  • @pjbjorlo I bought the AccuQuilt years ago, but returned it without using it because it was just too expensive. I'm sure it would work great!

  • This was great! Great explanation. Can you do one with batting?

  • @mcbo1914 I already have. I think it's under the title rag quilts for christmas.

  • @crispyemma I understand that flannel is the best for this type of quilt because it doesn't unravel after the initial cutting and cotton does. You can do a test piece and see.

  • I would like to make a quilt using rag quilt panels alternating with appliqued panels. The pattern is in my head. Does flat cotton work as well as flannel especially if you don't use batting. It is for my daughter in law who lives in Queensland and like you they don't need a heavy blanket. Thank you, in anticipation of your help.

  • @msgenski That's so sweet, thank you!

  • I love your videos.... I have done these quilts before but I was looking for a video so I can refer others to learn how to make them and this was perfect! Thank you for taking the time to do do this.
