@abadamu05 Me too -- but click & hope seems to work fine .. most of the time 9and that BIG red X -- also helps whenever i get lost (oh & it works from CLICKING in the LH top corner too -- as i found "by accident" one day) plus... they still "sell" new PC's -- whenever i crash mine -- against an unmovable object -- (like a pharkin big hammer)

Now--- IF.? If you had advised people --RIGHT AT THE START ,... that they needed to 'go" to an admin account 1st .. None of this would have been a problem

My Automatic Updates options are grayed out?
If your computer is part of a network, your network administrator might have configured your Automatic Updates options for you. ..... , such as updates, are applied. Your options might also be grayed out if you are not an administrator for your computer. Only administrators can add or remove programs, including updates.

I HAVE NEVER EVER USED -- any other setting .. than the AUTOMATICALLY INSTALL UPDATES .. 9recommended0..
BUT -- have always had an icon on the taskbar -- tell me to "boot" the installs.
NOW -- i read the next option ? AND GUESS WHAT --THAT is what ur useless XP has been doing .. NOT the automatically install option AS SET -- at all.?)
