All across the Show-Me State today, visitors can walk in the footsteps of the soldiers, both blue and gray, who fought for the causes they believed in. Anyone interested in Missouri should check out my civil war reenacting groups website. We are Crowely's 3rd. MO Inf. based out of KC, MO. 2011 is the 150th annv. of 1861 and Missouri will have reenactments at Wilson's Creek, Lexington, Carthage, Cole Camp, Booneville, and Athens. Our reenacting group est. in the late 70's and is the largest and best Conf. Infantry Company in the Mid-West. Our 2011 reenacting impression will be that of a Missouri State Guard Infantry

The state of Missouri needs to really get into holding reenactments especially now that the 150th is here. It would bring in tons of tourists i.e. money.
