In medieval music a drone might have existed, a bass note to accompany the melody.
En musique médiévale un "drone", une basse note peut avoir existé pour accompagner la mélodie.
I did not go as far as to often play the 8th course in C (loud).
Je n'ai pas été jusqu'à jouer souvent le 8 ème choeur en do (grave).
