Invoking the Sacred Masculine, this chant from about 1150 is considered a style of Gregorian Chant. This video was shot during a live concert using only candles for lighting.
My poetic translation is:
O Shepherd of souls
and O first voice
through whom all creation was summoned,
Now to you,
to you may it give pleasure and dignity
to liberate us from our miseries
and languishing.

@erykwolny Define "pity"? I sense that the Divine, through whichever channel, is still the Divine. The Light is reflected through many channels - many faiths or religions. Do you believe in God at all or is your problem specifically with some or all of the Christian faiths. We are ever-changing and redemption is always at hand - for you as much as for any one else.

"invoking the Sacred Masculine"? what a pity that somebody who calls herself a "sound shaman" uses texts of a christian mystic, lyrics that flew from a heart in love with the God of the Bible are now used by a "sound shaman", eh
