Speaking of heroes, Mick Ronson is playing here with liver cancer. This is his last live performance.  He died one year later. If you want to check out one hell of a good album, get "Heaven and Hull", Mick's last recording. All kinds of great musicians on it. Best track: Bowie covering "Like a Rolling Stone" Stunning. Last track: All the Young Dudes (from this concert). Fantastic. RIP Mick Ronson and Freddie Mercury

@afghanhound Knowing Bowie this was simply a deal. Two own song in the middle of the concert (plus a shared one - UP) or no appearance. He is a clever and tough guy... Queen would have done the very same approach in a reversed situation. So forget about the "favourite of Freddies" and likes of fairytales! :-) This concert was watched by more than one billion people...

All these amazing and great artist all together in this tribute concert. Never again will there be such a concert as this... The best singers of the best era in music the '70 & 80's and yes some new talents too but those times were the best. It's all going now, the real music will disappear with these great artists like Freddy, Michael and recently Ronnie James Dio...
