1999 Prius Test Drive

Test drive of a 99 model Prius after battery patchup. It stops idling once warmed up but battery is still weak as it goes from half to full with very little regen. Turtle comes up with hard acceleration but goes away quickly.

I think it would perform great with a plugin kit such as the Enginer kit. Though what I would really like to do is make it into an EV! :)

@hobbes32 The problem that you still have with this NHW10 Prius HV battery pack is that it still has cells it it that have high resistance (memory affect) this leads to them going straight to Peak voltage during charging and quick discharging, giving the impresion of 1/2 to full readings very quickly (not genuine "true" charging rates). To sort this the battery needs exersing 288v to 360v discharge/charges a few times, or on a stick by stick bases.
