Omg im so sorry to say I am currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses and the brother responses wasnt honest...very misleading n dishonest sorry. Its obvious the interviewer knew the answers to the questions so why didnt the brother pick up on that he made a fool of himself.

I was a witness when I was young. I quit going when I was young because the Witnesses did predict the end of the system of things. I think it was around 1966. I have been trying to find that article. Every time I search, it is not found, so obviously, it is being blocked. I may have been young and foolish, but my understanding was Matthew 24:38..."No one knows, not the angels, not even the son, but the father only.." So where did anyone have the right to predict the end....?

@venosmit They've been claiming since their inception that the end is right around the corner. Jesus addressed this when he said;

"Look out that you are not misled; for many will come on the basis of my name [Jesus], saying, 'I am he,' and, 'The due time has approached.' Do not go after them" (Luke 21:8)

Here's one example:

"The time is short, the final end of this system of things is near; consequently there is no time for hesitation, timidity or inactivity" (w51 9/1 p. 520).

Notice the date.

honestly ive found a lot of videos like this in where the JWS dont have an answer for whoever is asking the questions....but i too was raised around them, and i used to b one of them...and i know ministers from JWS who would debate every topic about it and would answer every question without hesitating, idk why these ones ive found look like they r just starting to learn about it too

@Mplaysbeatlab One of the reasons they appear like they cannot answer is because we ask a series of questions designed specifically to cause a contradiction in their thinking. Eventually we paint them into a corner from which they cannot escape without employing another propaganda stunt, such as moving the goalposts, or inserting a red herring. Ones skilled in the use of logical fallacies will attempt to answer, but will eventually fail when the fallacies are then identified to them.

@propagandatechniques Hello, You are playing games i could see this . The Brother was trying his best . I was a Born Again christian until i saw what i saw in those churches . So i left and YES became one of Jehovahs Witnesses i used to hunt JWs down ....lol now i hunt Born Agains .....lol

Side note: this guy was so zealous and excited in the beginning. Im sure he was hoping to have a wonderful experience to share with the congregation. Im sure he kept that to himself. Im still a JW b/c its still somewhat important to my wife. But OH how i wish someone would do a surprise interview with me, like in this video. I would tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth about the religion.

Do all Jehovah's Witnesses agree with the following Watchtower teaching earthwide?

"Did you know, for example, that mothers and fathers who stroke the genitals of their fretful babies to keep them quiet are unwittingly encouraging them to become masturbators later on?" (Watchtower, Sept 15, 1973, p. 568, par. 6)

Would stroking the genitalia of fretful infants be considered child molestation, and if so, why does the Watchtower not mention this?
