  • How many generations do the creatures usually run before you don't consider them to be "young" anymore? A few hundred, or would it be into the thousands?

    I ask because the longest one I've run was still shy of 400.

  • Usually, after only a couple dozen generations the overall body plan is pretty clear. The changes really start to level off (very tiny infrequent changes) around one or two hundred generations. That pattern can vary from run to run, but that's the general course in my experience.

  • Could you explain me how to get that nice, tiled floor instead the dirty one the default program has?

  • Looks a bit like a super-low gravity in the simulated environment -

    very small movements advance the creatures by quite a bit!
