@GamerDecci Yeah, just about most of the public servers will have sv_pure set higher than zero nowadays. If you don't have a high-powered system, you will get crashes in return. It takes resources on the client machine to compare the checksums of the files on the disk and within the GCFs, and in the event an unhandled exception occurs, then all kinds of crap is gonna happen all at once ... including Team Fortress 2 crashing.

Join lots of servers. Servers with sv_pure higher than 0 will block you're skin
