i didn't realise pacers was so poular.i've been driving them since 1994.we call them 'the legacy of thatcher'. lol

hmmmm...why your pacer is so jerky may be because your track is covered vith scenery remains sticking in the mechanisim. this or your track is dirty. try using a track rubber block or hornbys cheap rail cleaner car. if not wipe the wheels with a wool bud dipped in turps as the wheels may be dirty. if this dosent work i dont know what will but mine! runs gr8. best runner ive ever recived also make sure the couplings are touching properly ant the copper contacts are capt clean

Basically it must be an old model, without a flywheel. ;)

you should have eased the power up ;) makes departures etc more realistic ;)

I normally do, but one downside to this model is that it isnt very smooth at slow running so it is VERY Jerky!!!!!
