@ImNaDeWa ....Please note that the views I have expressed are the opinions of Epicurus and not my own personal beliefs.... As for free will?.. The druids believed that God gave us free will simply because he wants a band of people who CHOSE to live a life of virture rather than an army of puppets who do exactly what he tells them...... everyone has a choice... that's the beauty of it....

@TheDiceMan6 God is omnipotent and good. Therefore he gave us free will. So whe are free to do what god wants us to do (what is the best possible behavior) or do somehting less good or so much less good, that we call it bad. Because God gave us this free will, he will not take part in this shit we made by ourselves, until we regret individually or collectively and return to ask god for help - then there it will be.
Easy case if theres no mud in ones eyes... .

@JustForBrieLarson Yes it is, this is Jesus

Fascinating stuff from Alan Watts - he is compelling, and almost certainly right I think. I love him.

This is not Jesus
-
This is strange

Jesus wasn't a real person... He was not enlightened... He was the fictional creating of thousands of years of religious evolution culminating various preexisting pagan and gnostic myths. His purpose was to unite similar religious sects into one group.

In the beginning there was Alan Watts.

@litwriter100 The word "Caesarion" will answer this question. Look on Google or Wiki etc.

@nextHeritage I had sensed that you were merely looking for an argument. . that is why i refuse to be drawn into one. . if you would like to philosophize and open up a DISCOURSE?. . Then fine, I'd be more than happy. . but I'll be honest, you must earn your credibility all over again having started off on the wrong foot. . . . . . .check . . . . . . your move. . .
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

@jca2005. . "We can conceive of God becoming like man to save man, but we cannot conceive man becoming God-like to save himself". .
