Ghost X Ultimate-character creation and gameplay

After a recent glut of FPS games, i've come back to an MMORPG of sorts for this video.

A few months ago, I encountered Ghost X ultimate and downloaded it. I literally had about 20 minutes of play time and then the beta ended. For some reason, I recently came in contact with the download area for Ghost X Ultimate and it looked like it was back up. Sure enough, it was and it is functional. I'm not sure if the game is live or still in beta or not.

The game is an action style MMORPG similar to say Rusty Hearts or Darkspore. Unlike the fantasy settings of a lot of MMORPGs, this one is modern or "metro" as the put it. Your toon is a lot like the ones you see in anime styled games like Freejack. You play the game with a bond to these things called "nanobots" that become your weapons. You pick one in the beginning but can find more throughout the game. You even can combine and craft them into bigger and better ones. There are even mount nanobots.

The game is actually fun. The beat'em up style reminds me a lot of Rusty Hearts. The game, unlike say Bounty Hounds, is populated. I've seen quite a few people running around. The translation work is not perfect but it's not horrible engrish either. If you're an action RPG fan of games like DC UO, Vindictus, Rusty Hearts and more, try the game out.

I never played regular Ghost X but, from the website, they sure do look very similar. I wouldn't say GXU "sucks" quite yet. It actually seems a bit fun and it's refreshing to see a bunch of people around instead of feeling like you're the only one logged in (when playing a non-mainstream game)

I saw this game couple weeks ago. I was hoping there were major changes in it over the original Ghost X, but was disappointed to find barely any changes at all.. I think its a bad idea for them to keep both games up, let alone 1, since they clearly... suck..
