Ryan Ahlwardt is a professional singer/songwriter, member of the nationally known a capella group Straight No Chaser, and a quality individual. I'm thinking he had NOT heard me play or sing before giving his permission to cover one of his songs. I've been digging Ryan since I saw him solo opening up for Martin Sexton. I feel kinda bad for what I've done to his song - I am SO rhythmically challenged and also I had to improvise an ending because I was just kinda in over my head. Still, I enjoy the song, and I feel like this is the best uking I can do today.
