Interesting! It's before my time but television seemed to be a lot friendlier to the kinds of things you were talking about, back then. I read the transcript of a documentary about Lolita, narrated by Camille Paglia, which went out on channel 4 in 1992 I think. Ch 4 wouldn't go near it these days! Sad times. But the world is much larger than ch 4, at least!
