When I import a video, I only get the video track, not the audio track so I don´t have audio in my video´s.. Can you please help me ..?

i just got final cut and i have a sony vx1000 and i was wonder how you get the videos to your computer

well, you will need a firewire cable " 4 to 6 pin" and then plug it into the computer than to your camera first. Than go into final cut and in the file menu hit log and capture it will start turing the tape footage into clips hope it helped

what happens if I close the canvas window?? and the timeline? as in, if I'm a douche and close them both, how do I get them back?

ok, all u hav 2 do is go to window at the top of the screen and there will be multiple things checked just make sure you have everything checked up there and it should work
