Celebration of the Lizard Ouverture

This cartoon was meant to introduce a presentation of D.H. Lawrence's poem, "Snake", via the psychedelic imagery of Jim Morrison's poetry.
Some of its sequences were taken directly from Morrison (the girl licking an eyeball was part of a short film he intended to make), while the man swinging a stick at the serpent is a foretaste of Lawrence's poetry in "Snake".

un petit côté "the wall" intéressant, continue, mais en utilant des couleurs moins vives, car celebration est une oeuvre assez sombre. Le seul point négatif serait le côté trop figuratif de l'utilisation des métaphores de morrison. Le langage graphique gagnerait à être lui aussi un peu plus métaphorique...
