  • Woooow!!! Quite a crazy race there, super-close, 3-wide racing, and a pretty spectacular crash to finish it off! Makes me want to get into iRacing, but not without a nice sim setup... and unfortunately I don't have the space for it right now. :(

  • @casefc3s All you really need is a decent wheel, like a G25 or 27 from Logitech. At the time of this video I raced with a 25 on a desk, now I have an Obutto chassis setup.

  • I see Connecticut on your rear wing. You from there?

  • @DHHSSTUDENTNEWS Yes I am, I live in the southeastern corner

  • According to my stop watch, these laps are only averaging 220 mph.

  • @mustang6172 You typically pull 220-230 in the corners and can reach upwards of 240 on the straights. This particular run I wasn't touching the speeds I was later in the practice, my top was close to 250.

  • look at the noobs who were a few seconds back yet didn't slow down. Hmmm.... look there's smoke! Better stay at full throttle and 3 wide anyway! fail.

  • all i would say if that crash was real they would be dead

  • @mengers06 + and expensive computer.. :D

  • Seeing that wreck makes me think of what happened to Dan Wheldon

  • wats your specs for your computer and is it a high end class computer????

  • Does anyone know a good setup for the Indycar at Talladega?

  • I'd like to know how much you have to let up in order for corner entry.

  • why don't they race indy at dega? it looks fine! -.. oh, that's why

  • @mengers06 I do have the G25, but I don't even have the space on the desk to mount it, or under the desk for the pedals. What's the Obutto chassis setup? I've been looking at the sim cockpits for some time, just kinda figured I'd grab a junkyard car and hack it into pieces for one. ;)
