3) did you even see the movie? the movie is probably 40% dealing with racism, it's more a movie about mental health and dealing with those issues....his racism is NOT REAL...he fell into neo-nazism because he was so mentally fucked up and needful of a family.....the movie is about him realizing how much he doesn't need to hide behind the false racism....

You must not have actually watched the movie, cause if you had you would realize that everything Jeremy Renner is saying about his character Ned is absolutely true. Halfway through the movie you realize that Ned is not really racist, and if you had really listened to the interview Jeremy Renner clearly states that that is one of the reasons playing this character and saying such foul things did not really bother him.
