  • 'nian' (thai - เนียน - blend, smooth) it's a slang in thai which come from a word 'naab nian' (thai - แนบเนียน - ,cleanly,neatly,tactfully ,harmoniously)

in this case, a guy try to 'blend' himself into a conversation so his boss might not notice he's late. The boss said 'you're not blend' means 'don't try to fool us, we know!'

Thai joke always play with words and phrase. so if you guys can understand thai it surely make you LOL ^___________^

  • The Boss "Not blends" The dude " well we can still make it ble..." The Boss "Not blends" The dude *confuse* The co-worker "Not Blends" The dude *even more confuse* The Boss "It's you who's not blend" The dude "I won't be late for work again!" *bow in apology* then *chuckle* The Boss "That's not funny." Then Blah Blah Blah Condo ad. sorry for my poor english.

  • คุณรุจเป็นเจ้าของคอนโดไม่ใช่หรอ 555+ งั๋ยต้องมาเป็นคนเช่าซะงั้น

  • @caragio it's naeb nian* (:

  • haha, dunny voices at the end. I wonder who talks funnier; Thais or Middle easterners.

  • the ad is for a condo which is located in a major district, so it's close to a lot of offices. the narrator said the guy is better off looking for a condo that is close to work so that he won't be late anymore.

  • in this ad, the guy tries to 'blend' himself into a conversation so his boss might not notice he's late. The guy suggests a better solution for wall construction so it would blend with other walls. The boss replies, "Not blending...Not blending...YOU are not blending," as in the boss knows the guy's late, so he's trying to say "don't try to fool us, we know!'

  • as caragio and 037kondo explain, "nian" means to blend in or to smooth. it's a slang in Thai which came from the word "naab nian" which means cleanly, neatly, tactfully, harmoniously.

  • sounds like it would be a funny commercial if i could understand it. oh well i got a chuckle out of the thai voice at the end
