@ bboyspaz; after WEEKS of searching, I find this!! I heard this very sample (Brenda Russell, "In the Thick of It")..for the first time when viewing one of Professor Griff's interviews on Deadbolttv 's channel. It's part 2 of the series. The song/sample could be heard in the first 3 minutes of the video. Can you PLEASE tell me how I can buy a copy of this song/remake? No doubt, the original (circa 1979) version is just perfection!! I've been a long time fan of Brenda Russell. Thanks!

BBoy - very very nice, your a talented media artist. Nice groovy flowy feel, I like the way you flatened the intro to give it a transistor radio "Feel" then followed with that full nice kick...Now here is another sample for your groove - Find "The Floaters - Float on" and do a thing with that. It should glide nicey...peace gerg
um is it brenda russell- better get a grip and get it on

oh yea man. All about some breakdancing. I'm not from that generation, but when I learned about it (this was right around when i started making music) I fell in love with hiphop and the 5 elements of its culture.
