i dont know why people are shooked about Joe jackson whipping his kids. That's how Black people raise their children not by fear or threats but by being tough on them so when they get out in the world they know how to act. yeah i think joe was a little to hard and harsh on them but it worked. Thats how i was raised its normal

@erroll38 but the whippins came when you did something you weren't supposed to do like lie. they didnt come when you missed a dance step after giving your best effort or after missing the game winning shot or fumbling the football. those things should not be punished. those situations are chances for parents to encourage their children through positive reinforcement.

@erroll38 i get what you mean, and i agree with the part about how discipline is normal but putting fear into your kids and making them halfway scared to death of you is not normal, why do you think michael had sooooooo many psychological issues growing up...i mean even his mansion was a symbol of how he never had a childhood because his dad never let him have one...that's why he always wanted to be around children all the time once he became an adult

Joe's Wrong, You're absolutely right. Just like beating and shooting black children by white police. Shame on you Joe Jackson for wanting your children to not get shot, be drug off to jail, lynched, attacked by police dogs for sitting at a lunch counter or wanting to go to school or perhaps being fired from a job because of their color or not allowed to vote, even being beaten or hung. Joe you should have let the gangs and the racist police have your children like so many other blacks do.

Seeing these posts and comments proves we're not all equal. The march of dimes and Easter seals has got a lot of work to do on some of the minds that make bass-ackward comments on pages like this. How could I comment on alligator wrestling if I never lived in the swamp or fought an alligator for my life? And some of you black people. You know you're GOD'S people in the bible because it say's in Hosea 4:6 My people perish for a lack of knowledge
