I believe Skeeter overdubbed this to get both parts, which she sang because her sister was killed before this. And achievd ed perfect harmony - like the Everlys.

Incredible song. Tight vocal harmonies and the piano played through an electronic vibrato effect is from another planet. Great the way the hamony vocal drops out for the first line of the second verse. Works a treat. When I was busking round the restaurants in Cannes with Joe Danger we did it all the time. Not as magical as the original I have no doubt. But then the original is sublime ......

Skeeter and her sister made up the Davis Sisters with hits like I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know About Love". Her sister was killed in a car crash, and Skeeter became a solo artist.

I first heard this song on Radio Ceylon sung by another female artist - who was she? Anyone know? Skeeter of course does a great version too.

@Ozmulki Kathy Linden also recorded it, among others.
