Droid Apocalypse 2099 (Robotron 2084 homage) Gameplay

A bit of gameplay from one of my smaller game projects. I loved the original Robotron 2084, so I thought I'd create an online remake of it.

Apologies for the lack of sound and generally crap presentation of the video (I really should fork out for a registered copy of HyperCam). For some reason, it's playing at about 20-30% faster than it does in real life (some settings in After Effects that I've messed up!) so yes, it's a little speeded-up. It's not *quite* as quick when you play it (but it's still pretty rapid!) and runs at around 50-60fps on an average system.

I can rarely reach 500,000 points and I programmed the damn thing :-(
