  • @ibmoosed So do I, I don't see why its so hard for some people to just pack out, or at least burn their trash.

  • I didnt know they still allowed open fires in the park so i have been bringing my stove with me for the past 3 years. I know many of the fire pits at the Lean-To's have been taken out.

  • @SilentWolf1966 If it helps, here is the rule verbatim:

    "Fires should be built in existing fire pits or fireplaces if provided. Use only dead and down wood for fires. Cutting standing trees is prohibited. Extinguish all fires with water and stir ashes until they are cold to the touch. Do not build fires in areas marked by a "No Fires" disk."
