Hello,

Welcome to the first episode of "Arting with Jim". This episode is about colorblindness and attempts to explain what a colorblind person sees when they look at colors. I have deuteranopia which is red/green colorblindness.

  • I have protonopia and deuteronopia. I could really relate to this video

  • @lab32 We are members of an elite club. The secret knock is "knock...knock knock...1/2 knock. knocky knock" Oh geez, it's not secret anymore.

  • I have Tritanopia and the thired.

  • @GlopStudios That means your eyes are three times as AWESOME!

  • Man, I don't know how you were able to explain it so well! I've been trying to explain it to people for 25+ years now and it never seems to go as planned. It's funny that the same thing seems to happen to us though. Almost always when I tell someone that I'm colorblind I first get the black and white question, immediately followed by them pointing at something and asking me to tell them what color it is. This was quite entertaining!

  • @jboner668 Thanks a bundle!

At 1:38 i see nothing, Been taking color blindness tests and i keep ending up doing the red-green colorblindness. Reason is i am taking color theaory class and they said they got tests online i knew i was somewhat colorblind and glad i figure out the kinds and which i have. But now wish i wasnt taking this class
