I assume Dan was thinking of his ex-wife when he wrote this song, especially since it came from his divorce album, "Exiles." Another wonderful work from an amazing artist!

Someone shot the picture that touched my heart, let me realized our freedom is paid by others who sacrificed their life for us, let this song comfort those who lost their love one during the war, and pay my respect to those hero who died for the country.

My dear friend Bill. I'm short on words with this one as it breaks the heart yet is so astoundingly beautiful for nothing draws closer to the heart than the heartbreak of losing one you have loved and find so difficult to let go. This is seen in your visions and heard in Dans voice and felt in the depths of everyone who has ever felt a deep loss as much as they have felt the depth of love.

@SoothesMySoul Dear Marti, how I wish I could have more information about Dan's music, he shared his real life experience or encounter and write such a beautiful song to us, it really touches our feeling inside and echo from the bottom of our hearts, and I am honored that I can at least do some tribute to this greatest singer/songwriter of our generation, let's keep his legacy ever on...
