10 minute edit of a 2 hour behind the scenes video I shot during the making of the Long Way To Love Video shot in June 1988 in Fontana CA. Where we filmed was an abandoned steel plant that many movies have been shot at and is now the site of the Nascar track, California Speedway. You'll notice actor Forest Whitaker on the set, he was working as an apprentice director on the shoot.

Yes, at the time he was just getting into directing and served as an apprentice director on the shoot. Mentioned in the comments.

Fantastic behind the scenes look. Very few people realize just how much work goes into making one of these. I was aslo involved with making videos back when. This is really refreshing. THANKS

Yes as you know, we shot this 14 hours straight through the night. You can even see the sun rising in some shots and they were trying to block it with a shim. All for a 3 minute video. This also doesn't count telecine and editing time.
