Saw these girls rocken the chinese harp in the chinese harp store today while waiting for a bus. 2 seconds after I stopped they finished and smiled and waved at me. Should've kept on filming but they looked so intense

  • thats crazy. theyre so little & they can play that good! theyre so cute!

  • Hey, in English, this is called the Chinese Zither, in Chinese it's called Guzhen, and in Korean it's called Yagasum.

Therefore, let this instrument belong to Asia, because it's not worth to fight about its orgin.

  • @jgeng22 guzheng & gayageum are different......

  • @jgeng22 gu zheng is not chinese zither. it is chinese harp. the chinese zither is yang tsin

  • @kewlangot83 This is 3 years old. But still. I just can't stand it when something invented by China, refined by China, still being played by China, is mistaken as a Japanese "traditional" instrument. sigh..... I guess it's not your fault the world gets more exposure from Japan. The Koto is the Japanese kunyomi proncunciation of the Chinese character 箏. The onyomi reading is Sō, which is more ostensibly closer to the Chinese pronunciation. People actually think green tea was invented in Japan too

  • Hmm...but guzheng players aren't supposed to wear watches...cos there's a risk of it getting caught in the strings and pulling/breaking it. This was a practice session right?

  • this is so dope!! i play the harp as well! not this kind though!! i love the chinese harp!!

  • lovely

  • Wrong Chinese.

  • It is guzheng.Koto at the most has 17 strings.Guzheng can have up to 25 strings.

  • So cute! They are playing a traditional Chinese New Year piece. Aww....they'll be really good as they get older too. I wish I started learning so young..
