I came home from Germany (1962) on a troop transport ship. We crossed the North Sea in a mega storm! It was two days of waves breaking over the bow and traveling down the main deck! The entire trip was eight days and it blew the whole time. I had the man overboard watch part of that time. What a ride!!! What a bunch of seasick soldiers!
