Here's a sample of one of Ian Walsh's Awesome Bluegrass Fiddle Lessons! Here he teaches the classic fiddle tune Angelina Baker, aka Angeline the Baker. Check out the website www.OnlineLessonVideos.com for the full lesson + sheet music and mp3 jam tracks!
Beautiful job! I'm trying to learn this tune, and your version is inspirational. Thanks.

Hey I've taken 4 fiddle lessons so far I kid you not I've never played one before and your instruction video even though I'm not able to do it all still gave me enough info to play part of this song. My teacher was impressed and will show me the rest of this song.

Amazing...and you are so easy to understand in your lessons!
So where do you get or purchase the jam track for this (and others)?
Thanks!

'Angelina Baker' is a Stephen Foster song that differs signficantly from 'Angeline the Baker' the fiddle tune. And it isn't Angeleeena'

Thanks! Very helpful! I was given "the family violin" at Christmas. It was made (or tweeked) by Charles Albert and shows a date of 1900. It's in great shape and after 40 some years of playing acoustic guitar (and woefully little mandolin), I'm now wrapping my brain around an instrument with no frets played with a bow. That'll keep me busy a while. :)
