The engine is a Taylor CoBra. It has a copper-brazed sheet-metal block (hence the name CoBra) and it only displaced 44ci and weighed 133 pounds total. The copper-brazed sheet metal block gave it a reputation for having serious corrosion problems, but this can be corrected with modern coatings.

Rare car especially the convertible. Worth restoring and keeping ORIGINAL. The station wagons are the most common encountered but seldom convertibles. Parts are still available.

My dad has about 8 of these Crosley's. He even has a 1951 Crosley Puck Up that was his first car. Keeo thi car and it's heritage going!!!

Wonderful little car. It needs to be restored as close to original as possible. Please don't hot rod this. It seems to run very well, actually! This is SO much more cool than some sixties muscle car! This is a very rare vehicle! Congratulations!
