@elibeth121 Yeah, but if Adam and Eve had no knowledge of good and evil, it would be silly to hold them responsible for their actions. It's like leaving a bunch of kids alone at home with a loaded gun on the table and then being shocked when someone got shot. Plus anyone who punishes people like that, including the entire human race, then threatening them with eternal punishment if they didn't love him is a mental patient.

@topperheartramada well technically the fall of the Lucifer was before Adam and Eve. However God had told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree, they knew it was wrong. They chose to sin. God is all loving, he is not a monster, he is not twisted and he is not wrong. He is a loving God

@elibeth121 i thought sin and evil existed before adam and eve. wasn't the snake evil? and didn't the tree reveal to them the knowledge of good and evil? which begs the question why god would punish someone with no concept of right and wrong. but anyway, the reason we are on earth is that adam and eve were banished there and told to be fruitful and multiply. ultimately it is god who is evil in this story. monstrously evil and twisted, in need of psychiatric help.
