Na verdade as tabelas de filtragem do iptables são a FILTER, NAT e Mangle; Input, Output e Forward são chains da Filter.

INPUT, OUTPUT e FORWARD não são tabelas, são chains. A tabela é a filter!

tem umas pequenas falhas onde ele digita INPUT mais fala OUTPUT isso pode dificultar quem esta aprendendo... mais ta blz ja ajuda !!
