I don't have OCD but I do wash my hands a lot. sometimes they crack and bleed. my skin doesn't even feel like skin sometimes. I feel really bad for those with OCD.

I'm sad...I have an OCD ..I wash my hands alot..I put alot of soap in my hands too..when I say alot I mean TOO MUCH...first I put alot of dishwashing soap (wash) then laundry soap (wash) then hand soap (wash) then lastly just a normar bar soap ivory then (wash)...idk why I think if I don't wash it with diff soaps there will still b germs in my hands..I'm scared...idk what to do..I've always been like this since a kid..I'm 18 now

@MildKiss Well, you shouldn't. Dishwashing soap is made for dishes. Laundry detergent is made for clothes. Dishes and clothes can handle those kinds of detergents. You are doing more damage to your skin by using them, especially all at once, than you are getting them "germ free". However, a drop of mild dishwashing soap can be used. If you really want to kill the germs, use instant hand sanitizer, then wash with *anti-bacterial* hand soap. Stay away from the other stuff, it's pointless.

Hm, that must be why "Monk" is suddenly no longer on the air after ONLY 8 seasons, 13 Awards and 35 nominations. By the way I do constantly wash my hands and fear dirt, grease, food residue. I randomly straighten things out among doing other OCD related things. I have the right to satire myself, asshole.
