Dude is much "underrated". To me he's compatible to Paul Taylor, Dave Coz. And a whole flute album would be cool from him. His playing reminds me of a cut from Boney James named "Hold on Tight". Real "Jazz Complementary"!

This is simply beautiful. I've been listening to Nelson Rangell since around the time this album was released. I think he's one of the most underrated contemporary jazz musician to come along in the last 20 years. He should be much bigger than he is. His sax work is astounding (reminiscent of David Sanborn) and his flute/piccolo work is otherworldly. Not to mention he's a mad whistler too. I love all his work. Thanks for the post of this beautiful tune. :)
