This is one of the first Boards of Canada song I ever listened too. I put on the Music Has the Right To Children album one day 8 years ago about an hour and a half before going to work. It was the first time I had ever "taken the time" to do something relaxing before work, and the most relaxing thing I have ever done for myself. I was in that drowsy peaceful state, and I remember thinking, ok it sounds weird, but at least they are aiming at expressing something different. Big fan ever since.
