I noticed that this song wasnt on youtube so I posted it. The Byrds 1965 song You Wont Have To Cry released on their debut album "Mr. Tambourine Man". It was written by Roger (Jim) McGuinn and Gene Clark. Enjoy. P.S. sorry bout the mix-up of Chris Hillman and Dave Crosby at the end.

  • Um...You made a mistake near the end of the video where you pointed out Chris Hillman ( in the back, far left) as David Crosby and David Crosby ( in front of him, far left ) as Chris Hillman. Just thought I's point that out.

  • If you look in the information box it reads "P.S. sorry bout the mix-up of Chris Hillman and Dave Crosby at the end", thanks anyways though.

  • Thank you for posting this video. It is my favorate Byrds song as well. And, like others have stated, I think the Preflyte version (demo) is much better. But this is great.

I checked out your Channel page and I dig all the Beatles songs you have posted. Thanks for that also.

I do have one suggestion. It is difficult to read the song titles. I suggest you switch from Purple to a lighter color that would show better against the darker background.

    Take care.

    Peace.

  • I'll change the color of the titles on my channel by your request..... thanks for commenting and stopping by at my channel, you take care as well.

  • 'Look here asshole' That an instruction? Yeah, I see you.

  • I don't know, you stumped me on that one. Oh, wait, of course it's a fucking instruction.

see all

  • A fine tune from fine time. The American Beatles IMO. Too bad all they're known for today is "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Turn Turn Turn."

  • This version sounds different than the one on my record.

  • great work and great song, thanks.

  • In late August'65, Paul McCartney and George Harrison spended many time in the studio in LA... watchin The Byrds recording... Listening this it´s claire what where the real influences of... Rubber Soul. Of course, this is not a secret!

  • Don't HATE anyone, please , however misguided. They are hurting in there own way. I don't like her either but Paul did, eh! Would love to hear prefylte version of this if anyone can post because it made them get signed
