AK mag, tell us more. How did you fit it or is there some adapter to make it fit? I am old school and only have the SKS mags for mine :(

Thanks bigdaddy. I have 2 SKS's.One is a Sporter,16" barrel. They both use any detachable AK type mag.I think yours does too.I believe these guns will outshoot an AK any day.

@bigdaddyhoffman1911. That is not an AK-47 magazine. At one point in time it was an AK magazine that was modified to fit an SKS. It is known as a duckbill. It is detachable. When the gun is clear, slide the mag plate retaining lever just in front of the trigger guard back towards the trigger guard while pulling the mag down and toward the muzzle. It makes it lots easier to load all 30 when it's out of the gun. Take Care,

I have an sks paratrooper I bought new for $110 back in 1997 or 98.. love that gun.. wish I had bought 9 or 10 now, They go for around $400 and up here in Florida today.
