Sailor Mercury Transformations & Attacks (live action)

Note - All clips without subtitles were borrowed and taken from http://www.eternalsailormoon.org. All Credit goes to them :3 The rest I made myself.

Transformations & Attacks:

1 Mercury Power! Make-up! - Her transformation was a surprise for me. Mostly due to her hair being HORRIBLY bright blue (it reminds me of cotton candy in a good fuzzy way XP) Like the others, hers has her element of water everywhere. It's just full of bubbly blue goodness.

2 Mercury Aqua Mist! - Surprisingly, she has no bubbles as her official attack. Though this is relatively the same as her shabon spray since it mists everywhere in someones face.

3 Shine Aqua Illusion! - Not as exciting as the original but deals the same kind of water spray at someone (notice that even though mercury has more attacks then her anime counterpart, they are more or less similar. Not only in her motions but the final attack itself.)

4 Ice Sword Attack - She's the only scout to use her blade more then once. Though in this case, it is made from water she has summoned in the cave and could only be used to defend herself. The minute it is used, it goes back to being water again.

5 Dark Power! Make-up! - What's this!? Mercury has become evil!!! OH NOES DX For a short amount of time in the series mercury does indeed become evil (and for some reason slightly prettier O_o) She actually is given a transformation sequence, but has purple and of lot of black petals. I'm totally biased because purple is my favorite color, so this was totally awesome.

6 Ice Sword Attack Version 2 - In fact, she even could use her ice sword which she had used previously. Though this time it actually deals ice damage towards the scouts. She also can summon it at will by making a pillar of ice and using the icicle. Though she only uses this sword when she is Darkury.

7 Mercury's Star Attack - Her star attack, like Mars, also actually has stars. Though sometimes they change color.

8 Mercury Aqua Storm - The strangest thing about this attack is that it is only used once in a combined power effort with Luna and Moon. She never uses it again after this. Though it's mostly a stronger star attack. It just has a name now.

9 Mercury Aqua Cyclone - It's like shine aqua illusion......why give her so many new powers only to have them do the same thing. -pout-

10 Mercury Aqua Blizzard - FINALLY she gets an attack that does something different! This one actually freezes whoever she's trying to hit. Sorta like her upgraded shabon spray in the anime except she uses it out of desperation.

11 Ice Sword Attack Version 3 - Besides the fact that she's the ONLY one to summon her sword three times (Mars and Jupiter only do it once) she finally can use it like when she was Darkury. Though it's much stronger and reminds me a little of Tidus' sword from FFX. Nice.

Why is mercury a water element, isn't mercury the closest planet to the sun you know the one that's so close to the sun that it's atmosphere is mostly scorched away,

Unless her character archetype is sapose to be like the god Mercury,

This version makes me want to design a pepper spray can in the shape of one the Sailor Senshi wands.

Just imagine being approached in a dark alley, dropping into a Sailor Scout attack pose, and then pulling out a pink tambourine wand like at 2:38 and macing the guy in the face. xD

Man SodaPopXtrodinaire don't worry about what these ppl say. I love Sailor Moon and I'm in my 20s so i guess i must be mentally deprived too ^_^ Been watching this show since i was a little girl and luv every episode! So just screw em! WHOOO SAILOR POWER!!!!!!!!!!

@SodaPopXtrordinaire But in mythology, the god of sea is Neptune. Mecury is the the god of trade, theives and travel.

@SodaPopXtrordinaire The god Mercury was the messenger god, he could fly because he had wings on his feet. Nothing to do with water either. Neptune was god of the oceans, he would have been a good choice.

@weya Hmm, I think the crystal moon wands would probably be the easiest. If you get a long thin bottle/container, that could be the handle. Next make sure the opening is to the top so the spray comes out parallel to the "handle" (Air Wick air freshener bottle style, not typical cologne/perfume bottle style). Lastly, you just attach a crescent shaped object (most easily out of foil) around it, while making sure you don't block the opening.
