When will muslims educate themselves in the islamic religion instead of just calling themselves muslims? Forced marriages are haram in islam and such marriages are invalid. Doesn't the fact that a marriage contract is based on the CONSENT of both male & female give these people a clue? Consent is given with free will, or it's not consent but coercion/blackmail. Wake up muslims. It's ignorance like this that misrepresents the beautiful teachings of Islam and makes countless lives hell.

I am a newly migrant Pakistani. I know the truth better than anyone else. Girls settled in foreign countries cannot have an arranged marriage. Mostly they prefer love marriages. This movie describes the story of 80s and 70s. I think I have never seen a girl who leaves UK after marriage. Well Great imagination but far from truth.

Good piece , but why on earth you added Bangladesh here? Sure things like that happen not only in Pakistan but also in India, srilanka, Bangladesh, and even in some arab countries.......but why would you add Bangladesh? Does not make sense. Bangladesh is much more free spirited and liberal country than most muslim nation countries around the world, incase u didnt know.
